ANS History.

It all begins with an idea. An idea that can spark a change, make an impact, and bring people together. In 2018, the GOHE and other partners had an idea to create the first African Neurophysiology Conference. This idea was born out of a conversation between several organizations, and it would bring together professionals from over seven countries in Africa.

The conference was a huge success, and it served as a platform for professionals in the field to share knowledge, network, and collaborate. The conference was also an opportunity for professionals to learn about the latest advancements in neurophysiology and how they could be applied to improve healthcare in Africa..

ANS has grown

Today, the ANS has grown, and there is a WhatsApp group with over 230 neurophysiology professionals from across Africa. This group serves as a platform for continuous learning, networking, and collaboration. The organization has also become a voice for advocating for the advancement of neurophysiology in Africa.

Make it stand out.

This year, the organization is taking a big step forward as they are all meeting in Kenya for the second in-person conference after the Covid pandemic. The conference will bring together professionals from different countries, and it will be an opportunity to share new research, discuss emerging issues, and collaborate on solutions to some of the challenges facing the field in Africa.
